HOMAG OMLAT Spindle received seized this September.

First off we had the Bearing Changed and the Full HSK63B clamping unit changed.

Next on the check list we had the Encoder and positioning sensor reset to ensure the spindle is fully optimised and working correctly. 

Finally we had the Drawbar retention force set at 13.5 kN and Fully test run to maximum speed of 18,000rpm.
