Our Services
All spindles received for repair are subject to full strip-down and evaluation. An engineer’s report detailing reason for failure, reclamation and parts required for rebuild plus an Estimate are issued free of charge
Upon receipt of order:
1. All parts are brought back to standard or replaced
2. All precision bearings are replaced
3. All seals, spring discs etc replaced
4. Spindle dynamically balanced (if required)
5. Re-setting of sensors and encoders (if required)
6. Drawbar retention forces measured and re-set (if required)
7. Full test run to manufacturers specification
8. Vibration Analysis carried out
9. Spindle packed and returned to customer
Downtime caused by spindle breakdown is expensive in both time and money, Spindle health checks help to reduce the necessity for repairs and any loss of income.
Send us your spindle for a health check at a minimum cost. We can diagnose problems and minor faults. These can be rectified without the need of stripping the spindle. If a significant problem is found we can give you an Estimate for our full strip down and repair service.
