All spindles received for repair are subject to full strip-down and evaluation. An engineers report detailing reason for failure, reclamation and parts required for rebuild plus a quotation are issued free of charge.
Upon receipt of order:
All parts are brought back to standard or replaced
All precision bearings are replaced
All seals, spring discs etc replaced
Spindle dynamically balanced (if required)
Re-setting of sensors and encoders (if required)
Drawbar retention forces measured and re-set (if required)
Full test run to manufacturers specification
Vibration Analysis carried out
Spindle packed and returned to customer
